Successful graduates of STRIVE Baltimore who have mastered our baseline training are provided additional access to advanced hard-skills trainings through the Career Path program, an initiative designed to assist men and women with gaining the skills needed to move beyond entry-level employment and attain family-sustaining wages. The Career Path program employs a targeted employer approach, partnering with local corporations to fill job slots with qualified candidates. The Career Path design supports STRIVE graduates in moving beyond entry-level employment through the implementation of a post-secondary certified occupational training model.

Current trainings offered through the Career Path program include:

  • Certified Nursing and Geriatric Training (CNA/GNA)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Certification
  • Lead Abatement and Mold Remediation
  • Culinary Arts
  • Construction & Mechanical Engineering; and,
  • Pre-GED and GED preparatory and tutoring offerings

All trainings are housed on-site at CFUF's headquarters. (Note that the duration of client engagement in the Career Path program is dependent on the specific occupational skills track chosen by the client.)
